sigh. my entire future in 3 hours. i'm frightened. ok fine i'm terrified. make that panic-striken, and if i wasn't so young i'd get a heart-attack right now in front of my computer.

hide and seek. perfect if you --
-have a sweater like stephanie to put over your face during the scary parts. but stephie put it over her face the whole time. well that's another story.
-have nice patient friends on either side of you, eg waiyen and dennis, to grab and scream at and to borrow cover-my-face shirts from and enquire what the mad man's doing now.
i was so scared the entire time! i thought it was a supernatural show, not a thriller. knives scare me. those advertisements on radio give me the impression that charlie's not human. sheesh.
at least i know the storyline! *coughstephaniecough* haha.
surprisingly there were quite a few vjc people at plaza singapura. well.
i wanna watch hitch and miss congeniality 2! and a series of unfortunate events. maybe i should watch constantine next tuesday.
won't be back at vjc until wednesday! think i'll miss it a bit. on second thoughts i might go back for strings. to make up for my expedition on tuesday, haha. guess i'll see if i'm in the mood after monday. >.<

basically not much happened in school today. we have a new addition to the spasticlub! jiaying. haha she joined us in chemistry lecture. yahoo. our spastic empire is expanding.
stephanie just came into the computer lab. so now there's waiyen and me and jeremy and stephanie. 2/3 of the spasticlub. woo. ok i'm obsessed.
we're going for a movie later. constantine has strange movie times. and i don't think it's a good idea to have a class outing at 1am. yep waiting for zhixue to finish donating blood. i'm such a chicken i'd only donate blood if i was unconscious or something.
now we're all singing natural by sclub7. that's really unnatural. eer ok whatever.
this keyboard is really crap.

sigh. haven't updated in some time.
i've got plenty to say but i don't know where to start.
ok firstly jts was much better than expected! need i say more? :) at least i got to know chern yih.
hm nothing much happening this week. just that i'm going mass dance crazy! especially i want you and neutron! up down kick down up down kick...
oh and i completely mucked up strings practice. why do i have a knack of doing that huh!? and the problem is that i didn't muck up by playing badly. we have this new guy named zikai or something. eer he isn't exactly very new. he was a guest player last year but he quit. and he joined back on tuesday. well liling and joshua and zikai and i decided half-way through strings practice that we had to go to the toilet. so we went. together. and that's like 4/7 of our section gone. then after going to the toilet, the guys decided to take a walk to the canteen so liling and i went with them. so we were gone for a grand total of approximately 8 minutes. doesn't sound too bad huh? but then the conductor demanded to know who was in charge of the 'expedition', as he called it. and he made it sound like the toilet was the moon or mount everest or something. and that we were gone for like 8 years instead of 8 minutes. sheesh. and he kidded us that we had to stay back until 7.30. and i believed him at first. and guess what, he was the first out of lt4 when strings practice ended. haha sheesh. that's it, no more toilet breaks for me. it took 10 years out of my life expectancy.
and yesterday was the birth of spasticlub. with yuewoon and i as co-presidents, steph as treasurer, waiyen as secretary and jeremy as welfare co-ordinator. and nicolas and josh too. cool huh? spastamania! haha maybe if we get 15 members we can form a cca! eeer ok. we're getting obsessed with it, what with the spasticlub crest and slogan and spasticdollar funds. ha. whoever wants to join, grab an application form and get on the waiting list! eer yeah right.
haha oh and jerry ong came to vjc today to promote the i-shall-save-myself-for-marriage bands. cool and he still remembers me. yay! i called him for fun when he was onstage to see if his phone would ring loudly into the silence. but it didn't. aw. then he called me back when i was in physics tutorial. and he was like oh i remember you! i saw you in the audience you were that rgs girl. haha cool. but by the time we got down to the canteen the bands were sold out. :( so yep. wanted to buy the red one. symbolises that true love is worth waiting for or something. yep i agree it is worth waiting for, but what if you wait and wait and it doesn't come huh?! but never mind i shall still be idealistic. :)
oh got an a for math test. my expectations aren't high so i'm happy.
o level results coming out on monday. please let me stay in vjc. gimme a single digit. please.
'bows and flows of angel hair and ice cream castles in the air. and feather canyons everywhere. i've looked at cloud that way. but now they only block the sun, they rain and snow on everyone. so many things i would have done. but clouds got in my way.
i've looked at clouds from both sides now. from up and down, and still somehow. it's cloud illusions i recall. i really don't know clouds at all.
moons and junes and ferris wheels. the dizzy dancing way you feel. as every fairy tale comes real; i've looked at love that way. but now it's just another show. you leave them laughing when you go. and if you care, don't let them know. don't give yourself away.

valentine's day.
well it wasn't a big deal really. not like i was expecting it to be. think it's more international friendship day than valentine's day. valentine's day is such a crap idea, just something florists look forward to. so yep.
mass dance was a dismal failure. for a start, they should never have played the friendship dance, because 5/6 of the school population sauntered out of the hall. they should have played whiney whiney, then neutron, then i want you, then friendship dance. so we can do all the nice songs first, then walk out of the hall at the end. :) but because of their boo-boo, i didn't get to do neutron! sigh! it's my favourite. oh well i danced the last half of the friendship dance with jeffrey. he's a very enthusiastic dancer. eer that's the understatement of the year, hahaha. oh well. at least he's an okay dance teacher. :)
yep and he only wrote me a postcard today, because he said he's preparing a super huge, mammoth, gigantic, stupendously long letter for jts. well i hope he can complete it by then because his postcard is so short! oh well. his famous amos cookies will appease me though. :) at least he's such a nice angel. he makes up for alvin! alvin is one of the worst mortals in the world! he doesn't write to me and when i gave him his bookmark today, he didn't even say thank you! eer thanks for making me feel appreciated, alvin! oh well. -_-
then 05s16 played this dirty trick on me! during recess, when eminem's mockingbird was playing, they told me that class dedication was coming right up and go to the class table. so i was like okay. and the dedication wasn't a class dedication after all, it was a class conspiracy! apparently they thought it'd be really cute to fix zhixue and me up, so they wrote in this dedication to tingting from xuexue. eer right. and the content was so hideously mushy and crappy. the makings of a horror movie. and what's more, the canteen was genuinely interested in listening to it. so embarrassing and humiliating. ARGH oh well sam soo you die! hahaha. i'm gonna get you back!
well the rest of the day was fine i guess.
ooh i passed my napfa mock test. so i can skip third block pe from now on! alright! no more skipping strings sectionals. only 4 people in my class passed. wow. for the first time in my life i'm feeling fit. cool. but well to do the guys justice, the napfa standards for guys are ridiculous! jumping 2m for standing broad jump and doing chin-ups and running 2.4km in 12 minutes?! thanks goodness i'm female yeah. so it's no wonder the 4 who passed are all girls. oh well.
yep friendship day is drawing to an end. thanks to everyone for all the presents and stuff! and sorry i didn't give out many, because i didn't expect people to give stuff in vjc! i thought it was like some rgs tradition. oh well. feeling quite guilty now! :S and of course, no thanks for the crap dedication! haha. :)
well it wasn't a big deal really. not like i was expecting it to be. think it's more international friendship day than valentine's day. valentine's day is such a crap idea, just something florists look forward to. so yep.
mass dance was a dismal failure. for a start, they should never have played the friendship dance, because 5/6 of the school population sauntered out of the hall. they should have played whiney whiney, then neutron, then i want you, then friendship dance. so we can do all the nice songs first, then walk out of the hall at the end. :) but because of their boo-boo, i didn't get to do neutron! sigh! it's my favourite. oh well i danced the last half of the friendship dance with jeffrey. he's a very enthusiastic dancer. eer that's the understatement of the year, hahaha. oh well. at least he's an okay dance teacher. :)
yep and he only wrote me a postcard today, because he said he's preparing a super huge, mammoth, gigantic, stupendously long letter for jts. well i hope he can complete it by then because his postcard is so short! oh well. his famous amos cookies will appease me though. :) at least he's such a nice angel. he makes up for alvin! alvin is one of the worst mortals in the world! he doesn't write to me and when i gave him his bookmark today, he didn't even say thank you! eer thanks for making me feel appreciated, alvin! oh well. -_-

so marks the end of the chiense new year holiday. sigh! i'm so not looking forward to going back to school. but luckily it's valentine's/friendship day on monday. at least that's something.
well chinese new year was quite a blast. and my hongbao collection is growing quite nicely! yay! but i'm so stuffed up with new year goodies. sheesh. i bet my bmi is like 25 now.
but it was good to see my relatives. especially amanda! she's my baby cousin and she's so sweet! then again my dad's friend's baby son jayden is even sweeter. oh man i'd do anything to have a baby sibling. :( i took so many pictures of them! :)
cross country was such a joke. 524. yep that's me. well at least i'm not last. and no the last girl isn't 525! yay! claire was 523 because she waited for me. oops. thanks claire. :) i'm such a terrible cross-country runner! well at least that's one career option down. but despite claire's and my being in ursa, ursa was still first! woo! which is such an achievement considering that fact that we don't have any cross-country runners! nicolas waas delirious with happiness i think. sheeyin is the fastest girl in 05s16 and she got 38. dennis is fastest boy and he got 48. eer ok. 38 is much smaller than 524. oh dear.
after cross-country we went to parkway parade. waiyen and i got jeffrey's jts present. :) saw nicolas at pastamania. there was this bald guy standing behind him and it was super funny because they looked like father and son. :) stephanie's choir seniors were at mos burger and she was pretty embarrassed because she didn't go for choir outing. after stephie left something superbly embarrassing happened! and of course claire was behind it. who else? >:( i'm not too sure what exactly happened though, i only get the gist of it, because i spent most of that time hiding behind the gnc counter. ha i shall ask claire about it tomorrow then blog about it then. :S
oh it was my dad's birthday too, so we went to fook yuen with uncle patrick and auntie lily for dinner. i saw josh and evelynn before that. :) well dinner was pretty good i guess. i think my dad had a good birthday. we're having dinner with uncle patrick and auntie lily again, next saturday or sunday i think. :) yay something to look forward to!
went shopping with my mum on saturday for vday stuff. got all my angel/mortals something and spent like $26.40. so i'm broke again. i saw this gorgeous pink fox sports wristband that cost like $15 in surf and ski. argh i'm dying to get it! but it's so expensive for a wristband. oh well. i wonder how i'm gonna pass chuhao his stuff, though? i don't think i'd be able to recognise him. hm.
well gotta return to biology. enzymes are stupid. yay we get to do neutron mass dance tomorrow! :)

victoria chinese new year celebrations are really good! the kind that keeps you glued to your seat and makes you scream for more. haha nothing like the cringe-worthy, tomato-throwing celebrations of rgs. :P
yanqi didn't crash vjc after all! quite the opposite. i had to go to tjc to get her! sheesh! well the tjc campus is really pretty. :) but the signs that said "trespassers will be prosecuted" and "property protected by surveillance camera" are really intimidating. apparently tjc didn't really mean it because i sauntered right in, with my vjc collarpin fastened securely. haha. oh well the taxi fare cost me 4 bucks! $3.90 to be exact. never mind, since chinese new year is fast approaching, a nice hongbao will cover the cost. :)
so we went to orchard with the full intention of going to rgs, but found out from juniors that the school's practically deserted. hrmph. so we went shopping at far east plaza instead! woo! we met ruowei at 12.30. hsiutzu couldn't make it after all! *cries and dies* but well the three of us had a pretty good time, nonetheless. i bought an anklet and a ring, which left me flat broke! but i shall forgive myself, because chinese new year is fast approaching yeah. :) wanted to buy nail polish too but popular was closed and i was too lazy to walk back to far east, so i couldn't start off the new year with a new shade. :( oh well. we took a neoprint too! but it'd have been better if hsiutzu was in it. :(
orchard road brings back so many memories. like that time i got lost in far east plaza when i was in sec one. shopping spree after exams! class lunch at scotts picnic in sec three. and leaving my wallet there in sec four. all those crazy neoprint sessions! endless walks down orchard road with the angels and devils. climbing up that flight of stairs at the mrt and realising to my horror that i did both either AND or questions of the sec three math exam paper. being dumb and taking a neoprint with yanqi which set us back by four bucks each. playing french fry run with cat at lido. buying prom stuff at watsons. that midnight show. the 5am walk to cheers. i guess i left that part of my life behind at orchard road, and it's never coming back. it gives me a kinda bittersweet nostalgic feeling that i'm not sure i like. it's hard to leave it all behind i guess. ruowei hsiutzu yanqi, i really miss you guys! haha i'll remember those crazy few weeks after prelims when we were all sitting together at the back of the classroom. :)
well reunion dinner was really yummy! we had it in the backyard, and it was so breezy and comfortable. i love sparkling grape juice! oh yeah we closed the sidegate to keep the dog out of the backyard, because we were afraid that he'd knock the table over and burn himself. but half-way through the dinner he crept into the yard. argh turned out that he came in through the front door, through the living and dining rooms, through the kitchen, out of the backdoor and into the yard! he is such a sneak! argh he'd have made a great politician. adolf hitler would have taken his hat off. oh well my dog left a trail of pawprints. but he's so cuuute. guess he wanted to be a part of the reunion dinner huh. :)
i made the tangyuan. :) but it turned out to be kinda solid for tangyuan. the instructions said boil for 5-6 minutes. i boiled for 8. and it was still hard! imagine what we'd be eating if i had followed the instructions. something resembling rock candy i guess. but the taste was still pretty good! no thanks to me of course. -_- oh well.

i woke up this morning with this terrible ache in my left jaw. ouch! my parents think it might be my wisdom tooth. hm. i couldn't clench my teeth/open my mouth wide, so eating was such a pain. in more ways than one! oops pun not intended. i think i drank a record volume of milo today. but the pain's diminishing, so that's good. i wouldn't want to suffer through reunion dinner! :)
had a mini class outing. actually quite a lot of people turned up. :) we went to mcdonalds for lunch. stole a few of jeremy chia's curly fries. so yummy! sigh if only my jaw didn't hurt. i'd have stolen more! :D joshua came along too! haha.
then the rest of the class went to play pool and joshua and i went back to school. no before that actually we went with yuewen and hoying and zhongyi for a while to watsons. and yuewen and i have mastered the art of pretending to les-kiss! which is basically putting your thumb in front of your mouth and kissing it instead. >.<>.< oops.
yanqi might be crashing vjc tomorrow! but i, being the loseristic person i am, have no idea how to go about doing it! eer just play by ear i guess. :) think i'll just bring an extra collarpin for her tomorrow.
well actually i have no idea about tomorrow's plans! nobody seems to be planning anything! well i think i'll just follow the angels and devils around then leave at 2 or something.
hm actually i'm in a bit of a dilemma. maybe you guys can help me! i really wanna quit theory after my grade 7 exam, and just concentrate on piano practical. but on sunday, my teacher was telling me how grade 8 is hardly any different from grade 7. and she showed me the grade 8 test paper. and sheesh was she right! and suddenly i wasn't so sure whether to quit anymore. i mean, ok sure after this i probably would never need my grade 8 theory, but it might come in handy for practical. and besides, it's such a waste to quit after 7! what if i decided to take theory up once more after jc? then i'd have to start all over again! but well time is quite an important factor. so my teacher told me if i was serious about practical, she can take 5 minutes out of our theory lesson to listen to me play. a pretty good deal, hey? :) and seeing how grade 8 isn't very much more difficult than grade 7, if i work hard now, i might be able to take exam again next year and then finish the whole theory syllabus! woo. so should i quit theory and just take an hour of practical or should i quit practical and in a way have both theory and a little bit of practical? help me! :(
yep sheesh. tomorrow's the celebrations! have a happy chinese new year! sam soo is inviting the whole class to her house on friday night but it's my dad's birthday so i can't go. why does fate always put two good things together huh?! :(
